Senior’s Program

Overview

The Senior’s Program at Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaging community for our elders. Recognizing the importance of creating a supportive and enjoyable environment, the program offers a variety of events and activities tailored to the interests and well-being of our senior community members.

Program Highlights:

  1. Community Connection: The program serves as a hub for seniors to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships within the community.

  2. Events Calendar: A diverse range of events is organized regularly, ensuring there’s always something exciting happening. Highlights from the events calendar include:

    • Bingo Nights: An evening filled with friendly competition and excitement.
    • Potlucks: Enjoy delicious homemade dishes while sharing stories and laughter.
    • Bannock Nights: Celebrate cultural heritage with the warmth of freshly baked bannock.
    • Elders Education Engagement Night: A dedicated time for learning, discussions, and engaging activities.
  3. Supportive Community: The Senior’s Program provides a supportive network where seniors can access resources and assistance as needed.
