Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation has recently signed a Treaty alliance with Onion Lake Cree Nation to preserve, protect and enhance treaty and inherent rights.
At the core of this close-knit community is a registered population of 3,801 members, with 1,505 choosing to call the band’s own reserves their home. This dynamic Nation not only preserves its traditions but also actively contributes to the cultural mosaic of the region.
